Juxtapoz is fantastic, its an american publication but its great to see what the new talent is like across the pond, although the do features on international professionals too- the one i read last was on Stanley Donwood :]

Modern Painters is pretty good too, Flux isnt too bad either.

came across this fashion mag called wonderland a few months ago, cant bring mself to throw it out. theres something about the layout that breaks the rules, I think its more of a designers little graphic venture than anything elce thogh.

The magazines that really inspire me are BON International, Lula Girl of my dreams, Self Service, Graphic 10, and Graphic 11. I always have to carry one of those magazines around with me wherever I go.

Wad, New American Paintings, Art Forum, Flaunt, Eye, Domus and I.D.
All containing art, fashion, photography, graphics, design, architecture..... the works.
They're all fresh and very 'inspiring'.
Should check these out if you haven't yet.

I subscribe to Computer Arts and I agree with your comments, I think a lot of the cover artwork over the last few months has been a bit cliche.

I used to subscribe to Advanced Photoshop, it's worth a look but I don't think it's very 'advanced'!

I buy Computer Arts often, but I hate myself for doing it because it's awful. They value cutesy illustrator stuff and symmetric photomontages way too much, and the articles are pure fluff- they may as well fill every page with placeholder text. It's just every issue has one thing, one trick, you can take away from it so it's kind of worth it.
I was flicking through Advanced Photoshop recently, and think I might try that... though I don't want to read about just one programme. You have to buy them to see if they're any good really, why are they all £6? I never want the bloody CD.

Hey what are your favourite magazine/s? What do you love about them?
Mine would have to be IdN, and Computer Arts.
IdN is the best. The paper stock, the artists, its all good
